Shades of Stop - Part 2

A local man died the other day. He was a cyclist, riding to work when he was struck by a car and killed.

The police report stated he had run a stop sign, but friends who have ridden with him question this. This cyclist chastised others for not obeying the laws and was well respected by fellow cyclists.

The only witness was the driver who struck him.

Whether the cyclist ran the stop sign or not, the driver's story is plausible because cyclists do run stop signs. Our actions on the road are noticed and do shape the actions of others, sometimes in unintended ways.

Perhaps some good can come from bad news.
