A: Follow the traffic rules for vehicles.
- Ride on streets that are closed to traffic.
- Whenever a car approaches, get off the road or switch to the other side.
- Wear a lot of thick padding.

But I thought it was cool to cycle with only one gear (fixed) and no brakes and bounce off cars and people whenever possible.
