Great Big letter 'L' goes by my window
I was sitting at my computer next to the window when this great big letter goes by. Fifteen feet tall (12,960 point font), it took a while to go by.
BellSouth is now the new AT&T so that means the sign on the building has to change. They've been taking letters down for a few days now. They can only get 2-3 letters a day.
That's the Bank of America building behind AT&T South East (or something like that; I haven't learned the new name of this building).
Commute Summary
Round Trip Distance: 17.9
Number of Cyclists seen: 15
In-bound Route: Lullwater/PATH
Out-bound Route: Emory via Clifton
Weather: Magnificent. Started out around 50F and quickly warmed to mid 70's.
The unexpected event on the way in: I got stuck in traffic. On my bike.
There was a powerline down on Ponce de Leon (multi-lane) that forced traffic onto 5th street (single lane when cars are parked along side of street). I've never seen motor coaches and 18-wheelers come down this residential street, but several clogged up the street this morning. (Wish I had gotten a picture of this.)

Woah, stuck in traffic on a bike? That's lunacy ... I can honestly say that hasn't happened to me yet, although I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
It must be a real ordeal getting those huge letters down. "12,960 point font" cracked me up.
