Mission Accomplished
Agents 0.007 through 0.009 overcame incredible odds and delivered movie rentals and burritos while disguised as 12-year-old girls. The bicycles (and required-by-law helmets) were part of a covert operation to pick up supper and entertainment for a local family's Saturday evening.
The mission's outcome was secured by the team's nimble negotiation through a series of surprises. After crafting an astute seat-height adjustment and deft operation of the gear shifter just as the hill approached, the agents faced their most formidable challenge: what to do on a bike with the free drinks that are included with the kid's meal. We asked the cashier if we could get the meal without the drinks, but she said it was no difference in price. Instead of blowing our cover, we casually filled the three drink cups and enjoyed Sprite mixed with lemonade. Disaster averted.
The next challenge was how to carry the large volume of chips in the single pannier that was brought along. The three movies didn't take up much space, and the burritos fit nicely, but the chips had to be bungied down. It is our sincere hope that the professionalism of these agents would not be judged solely on the ratio of broken chips to unbroken chips.
We could tell you about their next mission to the Courteous Mass next Friday, but then we'd have to kill you.
