Win for Cyclists
Thanks to a sympathetic writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) and the new director of the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign, the City of Atlanta has paved over an abandoned rail crossing that has injured several cyclists.
It is encouraging that cyclists and their concerns are being taken seriously. The years of effort are starting to pay off.
The AJC article appeared today and is available online for a few weeks. The online article doesn't run the before/after photos which are available in the print version.
