New Bike Rack at local Home Depot
I'm sure this news reverberates all across the ... well, it may not even make it across the parking lot if it weren't for me taking this picture. I'm sure there's someone out there who appreciates a new bike rack as much as I do. Even if it is a rather plain rack, it is at least a functional rack.
It was only a few weeks ago that I was locking my bike to a sign post in the parking lot.

I notice you've locked your bicycle in such a way that the frame is supported :-)
Acline, I'm glad you noticed. On this style rack, I call it the "sweet spot" because you can avoid the wheelbender slots while securing the bike by the frame. Of course, not many of us competing for spots at this time.
This has given me an idea about a future post. I've wanted to do a brief survey of bike parking around my neighborhood, and part of this would be making use of the older style racks.
That's awesome at my local HD I usually chain my bike to one of those large jungle gyms they have outside.
This is good to see. The lack of bike racks at commercial establishments is a pet peeve of mine. In fact, my local Home Depot has none. I hope we see more places racking up.
