This was taken at the top of Kicking Horse Pass in September 1986 when I rode from Seattle up into Canada, through Calgary and eventually ended up in Minnesota. I'm standing on the Continental Divide that separates British Columbia from Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. It took all morning to get to the top of the divide and about 20 minutes to go down the other side.
